Cover Pools
The latest advances in pool-cover technology include a fast and powerful waterproof cover that is used to power an automatic pool cover; “touchpad controls,” which are standard on every system; and zero-maintenance drive systems. Sometimes called “horizontal fences,” these state-of-the-art pool-cover systems isolate the water and not the pool deck or backyard as conventional fences do. As a result of innovative technology, free-form pools pose no design limit for the design of automatic covers. In the deck-on-deck design, the pool cover track is on an upper deck, and the pool wall resides below the same upper deck.
Inground Pool Covers
A vinyl pool cover has often been referred to as an in-ground pool cover. In-ground pool covers have been in use for many decades.
In-ground pool covers offer a variety of choices. The in-ground pool cover choices include automatic, semi-automatic, manual, and snap-down pool covers. The manual in-ground pool cover does not run on a motor at all. The chief benefit of a snap-down cover is that the pool cover can be the same shape as the pool, even if irregular. Snap-down covers do not run on tracks.
